Pearl and Reed is named after my grand babies, Janie Pearl and Baylor Reed, but Baylor’s middle name, Reed, has an even deeper meaning. It honors Reed Curry, who will forever be 15.

Reed’s mom, Ann Marie, and I were inseparable when our kids were growing up—they spent weekends together & made countless memories. I’ll never forget Reed’s fearless, playful spirit—like the time he ran straight into the woods while hog hunting, no fear at all! His big personality left a mark on everyone who knew him.

When Kenzie was pregnant with Baylor, she decided to give him Reed’s name to keep his memory alive. Every day since, it’s been a beautiful reminder of the joy and light he brought into the world.

In Reed’s honor, we donate 10% of all sales during the last week of every month to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

We’ve also created something special: Reed’s Candle. Unlike our coastal-inspired collection, this one is unique—because Reed deserves something as one-of-a-kind as he was. The scent is Root Beer Float, one of his favorites, and 50% of all proceeds go directly to AFSP, all year long.

Our hope is simple: to raise awareness, bring hope, and remind everyone that it’s okay to not be okay. Let’s break the silence, choose kindness, and support each other.
